Sir,—l see in your issue of .Wednesday mormng an account, of, tho rough passago of the steamor Koromiko to Auckland. No.-l lifeboat was synashed to pieces. What a rovelation of prcsontrday conditions of tho lifeboats.: If tho-reports you gavo somo short time back of-Mr/i Fisher's lifeboat aro correct, why in tho namo of humanity, are they hanging on to- these ,old tubs ~ that .- get smashed to piecedlvith :water only?
