As the rtsnlt of the deliberations of a sub-committeo appointed by the conference to report upon the whole question, it was unanimously resolved at yesterday's Bitting Of the conference.— _ i' That, in the opinion of this conference, it is expedient that provision should be made to render it" , compulsory— v "(1) That all boys and-girls under the age , of 117 years should receire instruction for not , less than 15 hours per week. ' .
