The arrangements for the dance to be held in the Town Hall to-night, as an. aid to the benefit fund for Mr. who sustained a broken leg at a football match on Saturday, aro well under way. During the afternoon, there will bo a game ofihockey. m conncction With the benefit, that .will be well worth looking at. Tho Kia Toa ladies', team from Groytowa, who aro far: and away, tho best ladies' team m tho district, will journey to Featherston and play a match against tho 'men's club. After tho gamo the ladies will bo entertained by the lady members,of tho dance committee, and, m the evening, will attend the danco. The following men will'represent FoatherstonSoreuson, Higgison, l Rpydbouso, G. Walker, Kent-Johnston, Aitchison (2), Powell, Bungay,iGreatliead, and ton. Mr. P: Benton will referoo. .

Instructor Wilson put' his squad through their signalling, and found that tho men are gettiug on satisfactorily with this branch,, which, is comparatively new,to them. Next Tuesday night thero will bo a full dress parade.
