Soarle,' of Paeroa, has arrived in London. Ho-will visit .Scotland and Ireland,; and return home via; Vancouver. \ Mr. IJ. Ilolliday, of Wellington, has; arrived in London, via Suez;. Ho made a detour to visit Cairo and the Pyramids en routo. Amongst the new members of tho Jloyal Collego of Surgeons of England Mr. T.. Harrison, of New Zealand University and Middlesex Hospital. Mrs. J. B. M'Ewau, Now Zealand, has just returned- to London after somo seven mouths on the. Continent. Sho will probably visit friends'in Scotland in June; - Mr. \Y. B. Cant, of Christchiirch,; arrived last Saturday by the Pakeha.- He will spend two months in London, afterwards visiting 'the North of England and Scotland, and perhaps the; Continent; ' ■ ' Mr. H;-W; Funnell and 'Mr. J. K. Venables, of Christchurcb, arrived recently by, tho Orontes. Fergus, of Dunediii, arrived here on May 4 as surgeon of the s.s. Whakatane, which, came' from New Zealand, via Cape Horn. Dr. Fergus proposes remaining aJjout two years, visiting hospitals here and on: tho Continent. ; ' ' ' Mr. H. M. Patterson, of Christchurcb, . who arrived by the Papanui, has come to London for business experience; While oyer ! hero he will tour tho United Kingdom and the Continent, returning to ' New. Zealand in about three years' time; : -. . . Mr. C.. Bentley Russell and Mr.' Will Crazier, of Wellington, who are on, a twelvemonths' pleasure .tour,- arrived on..May 3, via Suoz. .During .the .next twelve' months they will visit Scotland, Ireland, France, and Holland. They intend, returning to Now Zealand via Vancouver. . Mr. V. A. Sproul, of Auckland, is paying' a brief visit to this country. He travelled hither via Vancouver, San Francisco, Chi-: cago. and-New York. ;Mr. Sproul _intends visiting his'people in Scotland, and' then leaving for Australia .via the Continent and Suez in/about - a month's' time. ■ Among-.recent arrivals from the Dominion are Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Brittaih,.of din, who camo by the, Moldavia,,.'as far 'as Jlarseilles,' and then' visited the Riviera, Switzerland, Paris, and the Rhine Valley on their way to London.
