Sir,—For - the' information' of those accountants who applied for- registration ■-' as members of the New Zealand Society, of AjCconntants; under the Accountants Act, 1908, would you kindly ascertain and publish the reason why no' announcement- as to" admissions has been made by the. Registration. Board? Applications closed-on March 31— two 1 and a naif months ago—and the board; which is comprised of prominent Government officials, has surely had time to consider the applications and announce the results, notwithstanding that the number of applications, for admission was considerable. Many: of-the applicants are in tho same position as myself: if'thew applications are refused.by the board they propose "sitting for the examination in Octobor, and undue delay in 'announcing the' admissions cuts short their time for preparation and prejudices their 'ultimate chances of success.
