An cntertatnment given on Friday night at tho Ohmemntu meeting houso convinced those who witnessed it that the troupe is a clevor and welltrained one Mr R W M'Bnde, representing the firm of Schubert and Anderson that is engineering tho trip, declares that Now Zealand will get tho "biggest advertisement in its life " Tho manager of tbo troupo, Mr. W. Farmer Whyte,' late sub-editor of tho "New Zca- , land Herald," was last night entertamed by his journalistic comrades, and presented with souvenirs expressive of their regard for him, and other best wishes for tho success of tho tear. Tho oompany will leave Wellington for San Francisco via Tahiti on July 7.
