The feature of the show (says the report) was the display ,?}• fruit and vegetables, which could not ,all bo accommodated in the large produce .shed as usual, but overflowed .into the second shod. The ' second stand, which was in an unsafe - has been put in thorough repair during the year, the society paying one-third of the cost. viz.£99. The inside of the large produce shed" has also j>een distempered throughout, l which added-very greatly to tlie appearance. of the. autumn show, and will save a con-stantjy recurring expense . for butter-cloth, which was used to cover tho bare walls.' Tho cost of this , was £46. • The net profit of the year was £509 95.. 6d. A list of. sattendances ;of; members at meetings of committees is contained in the report. , ; v ..
