THE CALIFORNIA BOYS.
The quaint littlo band of California Boys gavo a bright entertainment in the Town Hall on Saturday ovening, boforo a fairly large audience. Tho programme, which was a novel and refreshing one, was practically the same as on the opening night, tho only addition being a series of comic songs by Edward Burko, and.a clever sketch, "Tho Evil Men Do Lives After Thorn," in which the principal characters wore exceptionally well conceived. Tho programme concluded with four selections by tho band, Sousa's "El Capitan" and selections from "La Traviata" being especially good. Tho boys leave Wellington this evening for Palmorston North, and then go on to Martdn, Taihapo, und Auckland, and across to Sydney.
