The Welsh Liberals—after long discussions and murmurs of revolt—agreed to the withdrawal,; on Mr. Asquith promising to' introduce it in the House of Commons as the first measure next session. Mr. Asquith made it a condition of his promiso that the members concerned give a pledge that they will assist to pass the Bill through all stages in the House of Commons in 1910.
