The.SUr of "Wellington Lodge of Good Ternplarsheld its weekly session in Kicliaruss Hall, Cuba Street, lost week. There was a good attendance of members and visitors, and a very successful "spelling bee' was-car-ried out. A number of naval members from the warships in port contributed to the harmony and greatly helped to -make the meeting a most enjoyable one. ' ' /„ •• • The usual weekly session of the King's, Coror nation Lodge, No: 83, 1.0. G.T., was held at its room, llannors Street; on.Friday evening. Bro. L. Parris, C.T., presided over a good attendance. One now member was initiated, and one other was readmitted into the Order. A surprise visit'was paid by tho District Lodso Executive, who, with the members of tho Ilia ,Ora Lodge, were officially wolcomed. Bro. W. Smith, D.C.T., presided. A short' discussion took place on " Good of. the Order," opened bj ( Bro. Dryden. A motion was carried unanimously protesting against the issuing ol licenses in the King Country, an<t copies of euoh resolution are to be sent to all the Ministers of the Crown and others concerned. A short programme of songs and recitations helped to pass a pleasant evening. Greetings from various lodges were received and reciprocated. ■-' it
