MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
The,weekly lecture on how to act in an I emergency c calling for medical attontion was giTen on Friday evening by Mr. James Moore, in the Missions to Seamen Institute. There was a largo audience. The lecturer referred to tho common accidents likely to ocour in the daily course pf life, dealing chiefly with the methods of bandaging a broken jaw and injured limjbs. Competitions in connection' with ambnlance vorK wec» ,-wpn by, sailors; from' ships in- port. A. bright mnsical propammo was provided by Mrs. Hugo, the following contributing items:— Misses Z. Hujo, J. "Wavd, and Mr. lambert. Miss Hugo acted as accompanist. -The perloiraers were accotded a hearty vote of thanks.
