Sims, of Westshoro. The Rev. Canon Mayn«, performed tho wcddiug ceremony. The undo ■ who was given, away ly-her brotbor, Mr. j! . SiVi b ™^, woro an empire gown of ivory'silk, with bndal wreath and veil. -■ The bnW ; maids mia» Mabel and Lena Sims* Sisters of the bndo, who wore charming dresses of bream radietta, beautifully trim, mod, and wore black Merry Widow hats. Mr U (jamby was best man, and Mr. H. Sims |» groomsman. The; bride's gift, to tho bnaegroom was. a gold • sovereign case. The bridegroom s presents to tho bridesmaids wore gold chains and pendants, and to'tho brido no gavo a gold muff chain and.locket. A large number of guests wore afterwards onat breakfast at the Wostshoro Hall, by the bride V mother, and at a danco in tho evening. A largo numbor of handsomo and useful presents wore received, including several cheques., Tho bride's travelling dress was a navy tailor-made costume, with a pretty black hat. .. ; . ■ ..- , Onco again tiro grim powers that rule tlris sad Dominion relented attho last'momont— perhaps it was tho thought of the militant ladios that worked tho change—but, anyway, the Honso was at its opening onco again adorned by the presence of ladies, most of them Parliamentary ladios. On the floor of thoHouso were her Excellency Lady Plunkot ' Lady Ward, and Miss Ward, Mrs: Findlay! Mrs. Fowlds, and the wires of other Ministers. Both Lady Plunkot and-Lady Ward were presented with handsomo liouqnets by ' the Speaker of tjio Uppor Houso, wlib must surely, cherish this knightly annual' privilege of introducing flowers into an otticrwisa dreary Chamber. In the one gallery, which was; shared aliko by press'and ladies, were several wives of members-of tho Upper and Lower Houses. - Mrs. Fulton 'has' presented a prize of some handsomo Liberty buttons to be played for by junior members of the Miramar,Ladies' • Golf Club.', and the match wasnlavodivostop day, resulting in Miss E., Bulklov. winning first prize. _- Two. members tied for-sccond place, and will play off later. ■
