THE STORMS "BUDDO" AND "CARROLL."
"NGATA" NOW UNDER WAY. ■ -Writing to The' Dominion ,under ,'dato May 30, Mr. Clement L. Wragge states:—The main-part of disturbance -'Carroll!' passed swiftly south from Wellington towards west longitude at 4.15 .yesterday afternoon, beautifully timed-and recorded by the barograph. Owing to what may be' termed "over-charg-ing" T>y anticyclonic or high-pressure ridges, "Carroll!? has, largely '.filled up, and'is - fizzling out,-' and is the' only one of the series of atmospherio.idisturbarices, named in honour of ,pubh'c men, (that has failed to fully answer expectations.- Tho weather over'all New Zealand will remain anticyclonic; and therefore fine and favourable for very cold nights: and hard frosts inland only for-a short- period, :'and then comes the . disturbance' Buddo,' M now off Tasmania. ' A disturbance, "Ngata," will follow near the . middle of -June. ,' .' 1
