Jiaoh shelter contains four berths, and is practically a tent on a raised wooden floor. The .aimngroom is equally open to the airy it boing a slight wooden structure, with canvas walls and iron roof. The patients have planted 450 acres of, larch trees. The work seems to havo been very well, done, and there are practioally no dead plants. In conversing with the patients, I heard no complaints, and' they seemed to be very weir pleased with-the care they wero.receiving. Camps for consumptives are, of course, well known in Europe, but we arc the fiist to adopt treeplanting as being modically recommended as a suitable occupation for convalescent consumptives. ■■ : :.- ■' ■:.■.
