While Mr. Miliar was giv- -, ing tho inrormatiou, the othei man jumped on tho opposite sido of the cab seat, gripping Air. aiiliaj by the aim. Hβ turned round i on his ftseailant, but at tho eamo time tho jnau,on tho other side' of tho oab jumped • up and hud hold of tho driver's arms and lags. The two mon then , proceeded te go through Mr. Millar's pockets, and leli'eiec! him of all bis cash, amounting te 16s. They i aid not take his watch oi any other articles , *hich might havp assisted in identification, i Tho two men, after tho robbory, jumpod Off ! tho oab and walked away, saying, "Good night, old mafi. 'Yon art Hot a bad sort." They disappeared in tho direction of Jull Road. Ihe u night was very dark, and in spite of his cab lights Mr. Millar could not recognise tbo thie\cs, but he says they had an unkempt appearance a3 if they liad been .for a. long, tramp,.or ..had just left,off. work.
