INACCESSIBLE VANCOUVER.

Vancouver is proving a rather inaccessible place- for New Zealand stud stock. The valuable consignment of Romney sheep from the Short flocks and the Perry Lincoln ram _ which were to have left New \Zealand consigned to'.Messrs. Riddell and Sons, of lOreepn, some weeks, ago, are stillin New Zealand. At; least twico a date of shipment has been, fixed, but each time-tho arrangement has had to bo broken .through. The trouble is due to the absence' of a direct' service to Vancouver, and also to quarantine regulations, which restrict tho shipping vice, via Sydney in regard to the cargo which At may take. At present it is arranged that tho sheep shall go over by : . the. Sydney steamer next week, and there be transhipped to the Aoraugi for Vancouver. .It is hoped that there will be no cancellation .this time.
