HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.

fortnightlymeeting of the Wellington Hospital Trustees was .held yesterday morning, theie being present :—The Eon. C. M. Luke (in the chair), and Messrs. 3. Danks, "W. H. Hales, G. T. London, R. C. Kirk, Agmen Smith, G. Nash, and J. W. MTBwan. The return of patients for the fortnight was as .followst—General Hospital—lo7 males and'B9 females, a total of 196, as against 204 for the corresponding period of 1908. Victoria Hospital—2o males, and 19 females., Seddon Hospital—l 2 males and 6 females. Grand total, 253, as compared with 262 for the same fortnight of last year. The amount received from out-patients totalled :£l3 "55., as against .£ll 10a. for the previous fortnight, and £17 7s. for the corresponding period of 1908. The amount received from. in-patients was JX<2 65., Ks compared with v£7B 3s. Gd. for the previons fortnight and .£152 sa. 3d. for the corresponding fortnight of 1908. . The House Committee recommended!— That before fixing tho new dissecting table in the morgue the present woodon floor be taken out and a concrete one put in; that a steam Bterilisor bo put into each ward in order to effect •a saving in gas; that 10 or 12 of the coilmgs at tho Nurses' Home be repaired with asbestos sheeting. The report was adopted.
