THE SAILORS' REST.
The Sailors' fiest was criwded Inst night, the occasion being the usual fortnightly concert to seamen given -by, tho Wellington Catholic Seamen's Conference. The programmo submitted was highly appreciated, the following ladies and gentlemen contributed items:—Mrs'.' Colo, piano solo; Miss .H. Striokland. song; Miss P. Trcep'nning, song; Master P. Walsh, sonp;; Mr. J. Wilson, violin solo; Miss K. Sullivan, song; Misses Bradley and Murphy,' duet; Hiss Jameson,, song; Misses P, and A.. Flnnnbgan. pianoforte duet;. Miss Barton, song; Mr. E. Rollard, fluto solo; Mr. J. Knowles, song; Mr. W. Chris, song. .Tho accompaniments wer efficiently played by, Mrs. Cole. At the conclusion Captain' Bonner suitably returned *hanks.
