_ Over thirty'members and visitors assembled in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms Inst evening, when-a Parliamentary evening was held. Mr. E. Brown, president, occupied the chair. . Three candidates, Messrs. Gilbert; Epstein, and. A. W. Parton, expressed their viewsi and answered questions'. Mr. Gilbert represented the Liberal party, Mr. Epstein Socialism, and Mr. Parton Opposition. A show of hands was taken to decide the representative, and Mr. Gilbert iwas declared elected.'. Next week a paper on' "Land Nationalisation" is to bo delivered. All men are welcome. •
