Tontom, Bull, and Cooper, some largo prices wore realisedj amongst tliem being £50 for a Canada first issue, 12d. black on wove.paper; £54 for a Newfoundland 1857, Is.' scarlet vermilion; £50 for a Newfoundland 1860, la. orange vermilion; £31 for a Nova Scotia 1851, Is. violet; £2S for a New Brunswick 1851; violet; £13 for a Newfoundland 1857, 4d. ; scarlet vermilion; and £10 10s. for 1881 St. Vincent provisional 4d., or Is., vermilion. Tho total of the sale, which was the third portion of the collection of llr. Robert Roid, realised £1200.
