He cannot eat nor sit still—he. sees red- in, eveijtliing, and his every expression denotes fear and a haunting horror of the deed he has committed. Attempting to sleep ho enacts the deed all over again, to 'wake up raving, and to find much relief at finding it. only a dream. His sister enters to see if ho is composed, and, while he sleeps, discovers the "opera cloak of' the murdered girl. ;: In her giee she tries it on, and while doing so her brother awakens, sees whom ho considers his victim beforo him, stabs her, and then discovers what he has done—a strongly tragic Snale. Another star picture is that of the Grand National Steeplechase of this year (won by Lutteur III).
