Several social evenings'-were also held in, the club, rooms, and appeared to, bo thoroughly enjoyed-, by the - members.' Special mention must bo made of-the-.entertainment provided by members of the Savage Club, under the • direction of Mr. James Dykes; Some.' twenty pounds, .worth of books ordered' from London would bo' available.'
