Sir,—l wish to draw attention to the inconvenience women are subject to whilo travelling on steamers. When there are such numbers of mothers and infants continually travelling, .why do. not' shipping companies, the TJ.S.S. Co. in particular, make provision for iarger berths for 'the, woman who must have a child'sleeping with her?
