'The monthly meeting, of the school' com-r mittee was held on Wednesday evening, Mr. John Urown presiding. ■ The financial results of the children's concert was reported;*at £20 ,13s. '6d., and. accounts amounting to £3 10s. 4d. were passed for payment, v The headmaster (Mr. A. N. Burns) reported that the total number on the roll was 306, the average attendance being 281. The chairman reported having received the resignation of Mr, A; Talbot, ,M;A., who had accepted a position,on the staff of tne Greymouth High School, and a resolution of appreciation of his years' work on the staff-of the school was placed on record.
