It has been definitely decided -that the match between Arnst and Webb for the sculling championship and £500, aside ihall be rowed on the Wanganui Rivcr'l The idea of holding it at Akaroa was abandoned in view ot the risk of rough and cold weather. Arnst proceeds to Wellington by the Waikare, and will go on to Wanganui oh Monday. His brother, Jack Arnst, .'will, journey to Akaroa to-night to arrange for shipping all boats to. Wanganui, ancf he !and Fogwell (R< Arnst's trainer) will accompany tho boats to Wanganui. While returning from Dunedin. in a motor car on Thursday after pacing his brother • Jack in his successful attempt on the Christchurch-Dunedin cycling record, R. Arnst caught a severe cold, the!side of his face being affected, and his throat inflamed. Acting on medical advice,, he has-spent the last few .days in'bed, _but was sufficiently recovered to get up this morning. He anticipates' that he will be perfectly recovered within a day or two. Arrangements have been made/for the champion to occupy the same training grounds at Wanganui as on the previous occasion.
