BENEVOLENT TRUSTEES.
The trustees of. the Benevolent Institution met when there* were present": Mr. 1 J. Smith (chairman), the ■ Hon. X W. Hogg, the Eev, TV. A. Evans, Miss Richmond, Messrs. H. Cook, E. TV. Short, W. J. TVakaham, D. P. Loasby, and D. Robertson. , The number of inmates'at the Ohiro Home ! was reported to be 110 (80 males and .30 'females) as against 108 for the previous week. Tho Finance Committee recommended that, while recognising the good work done by the mastor, matron, and stall' of tho Ohiro Home, . they could not see their ■ way to grant any • increase in salaries, at tho present time., Tha" report of the committee was adopted.
