Turkey are tho army corps, particularly tho First Army Corps, which has its headquarters at Constantinople, and on..which tho new Administration is relying; also tho Third Army Corps, which has its headquarters at Salonika, .and which has advanced along tho railway under the orders of the Young Turk Committee;' Thcro is reason to boliovo that tho Third Army Corps in its advance is being reinforced hy. the Second Army Corps, which is quartered at Turkey's northern centre, Adriimople; it. was tho Third and Sccond Army Corpsthat, wore mainly instrumental in securing the success of tho Young Turks' bloodless revolution in July. Confronted with this combination," Constantinople has called on tho Fourth Army Corps (headquarters Erzinjan, in Asia' Minor) to send assistance to the First Army Corps in the menaced capital; but yesterday's cablegrams indicated that the 'Fourth Army Corps was likely to go against the now Administration. The Fifth and Sixth Army Corps are still farther away, at Damascus and Bagdad; the other troops-are also stationed remotely in Asiatic Turkey.
