The following teams will compete in the Wairarapa Hockey Association's competitions this season:—Senior:■■ • Carterton, W.F.C.Ay Ria Kaha, Knox. Junior: Carterton, Knox, and W.F.C.A. In the "Wairarapa ladies' competitions the teams will be ,as follow:—Seniors:', Groytown' Ramblers, Carterton, Dalefield, 'Huia, High School. Juniors: Ramblers, High- School, Huia; ■ ' The following is the list of teams which vrill compote in the Wairarapa Rugby' Union's fixtures this season:—Senior: Carterton, Red Star, Masterton, Greytown, Gladstone, Lower Valley. Junior: Red Star, Dalefield, Carterton, Masterton, Te Ore Ore, Greytownj Lower Valley. Third-class': Red Star,. Masterton, Dalefield, To Ore Ore, .Carterton. Mr. H. Cork, who has been promoted from the position of chief clerk of the Masterton.' Post and Telegraph Office to that of post-' master at Levin, commenced his now duties yesterday.' Mr. Cork _ was regarded in Masterton'as a'most obliging official, and general regret was expressed at his departure from' tho town. His previous position of chief clerk has been filled by Mr.' H. E.
