Last night, at the Druids' ."Hall; the Wellington Letter Carriers' 'staff, held its second' annual. social. There; was a large attendance, among those present being Mr. Waters, acting.assistant secretary to the Postal Department, Mr. Mann, controller' of the stores, and Mr. Hutton, Chief Postmaster. At the conclusion of the euchre tourney Mr. Button, on behalf of the letter carriers, presented Letter Carrier Russellj who has retired on account of having reached the age limit,, with a marble clock and, for Mrs. llussell,-. with a handsome brooch. About 80 couples took part in the dancing, for which the music was supplied by Platt's String Band. Messrs. Buck, Couper, and iliddick were MiC.'s.,. Aji, enjoyable supper was laid by Mr;' Starr.
