Bray pleaded guilty to a charge of using obscene language at Island Bay. His Worship remarked . that this was acoused's second offence. He .would be sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment. John Shannon, deemed to be an habitual - drunkard, was sentenced to two months' imprisonment. Wm.. Stewart. failed to 'appear in answer to a charge of insobriety, and was fined '■ 205., with the alternative of 4S hours' imprisonment. .Two first offendors were fined 10s., 'and another was fined ss. • ■■
