The da was lino and the ground in good order. Neithe side was fully represented, tha local team ha\ ing a number of juniors and third-class player in their ranks. Bed Star had decidedly th best of the first spell, froio .1 scrum near th half-way ilag Adams secured the ball an 1 started a passing rush. The leather eventuall fell into Duggan's hands, and this player, afte a tricky run, scored under the goalposts. Dup gan took tho kick at goal and piloted'the bal between the uprights. There was.no furthe score during tho spell. Tho local team main taiiicd the upper hand in the second spell.
