Heavy rain has fallen continuously sinco early this morning. A largo number of visitors are spending the holiday in town. Celebrations m conncction with tho Collegiate School commenced this afternoon, when a largely attended service was held at. Christ Church. Sports will be hold to-mor-row, and tho foundation-stone of the new building will bo laid by his Excellency tho Governor 011 Tuesday.
