ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FATALLY SCALDED. (by telegbafh—peess association.) Duncdin, April 7. An industrial school child named James Stacker, eighteen months old, who was boarded out with Mrs. Fleming, at Waikouaiti, fell into a bucket of boiling water last night, and succumbed to his injuries. A VETERAN'S SAD END. Duncdin, April 7. Last night, a four-roomed cottage, owned and occipied by Thomas Rattigun, Waikbuaiti, was burned down. The- remains of Rattigan were found in the debris, llattigan, who was the solo occupant of the- house at the time, was a Maori war veteran.
