Thirty-six entries havo been received for tho Urban Pictures Marathon race, to be run this evening. Tho race commences at Winder's Corner, nt G. 30, r.nd will finish on the slago of the Opera House, in view of the audience. Uunnor.s are requested by advertisement elsewhere to meet at Hie stage-door of the Opera Houso at C o'clock; dressing-rooms will be provided. Motor cars will follow the runners, and it has been arranged to have them checked at several points on the route. The sealed handicaps, held in connection with the woo, nro proving of interest among tho runners. Mr. W. 11. Pollock is framing the handicaps. Teas grown in different localities have different characteristics, and oven the tea from any particular garden is not the same in two siiccessivo seasons. Climatic changes, difl'orences of soil, exorcise influences, and it is in the art of tho tea blender to bring together tho different teas and by combination to produce a particular flavour.
