Muritai fixture in the pennant competition was played on the Muritai courts on .Saturday, and resulted in a win f or Brougham Hill (who are consequently champions for 1908-09) after an exciting finish, in the deciding set, the men's double, Howden and Wright led 8-6, and 40:30, in the last three games, but Barton and Kean won tho competition for their side by taking the set 9-8 Brougham Hill, i.sets to 3 (42 games to 45)'.Barton v.
