It is considered in some quarters that the Crown Prince's renunciation of the Servian Crown in favour of his younger brother is duo to his extreme disappointment at Servia's isolation. St. Petersburg, March 27. The decision of M. Isvolsky, Russian Ministor for Foreign Affairs, that Russia is lirepared to recognise the annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, became known in St. Petersburg through foreign telegrams, discovery of which caused the greatest excitement and most heated comments in the Russian newspapers. London, March 2". "The Times" shows that aftor the military precautions by Austria and Germany to prevent any resistance to the Balkan agreements with the- Porte, German diplomacy took the field at St. Petersburg and wrested from M. Isvolsky the declaration montioned. "The, Times" adds:—"ln the light of Germany's temporary triumph, which cannot tend to permanent peace, the censure debate in tho House of Commons will assume new and increased significance." "The British Navy," concludes "Tho Times," "has stood more than once between Europo and the claims of tho same great Continental Power to bo the sole and Bupremo arbiter of the destinies of nations." BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA. SIR E. GREY'S INTENTIONS. , (Rec. March 29, 1 a.m.) London, March 28. A somi-official report from Romo states that Germany has asked the Powers to adhero to M. Isvolsky's declaration to Baron von Aehrenthal regarding tho recognition of the annexation of Bosnia and , Herzegovina. A Router message from Vienna states that Sir E. Grey intends to ask for an adjustment of Austro-Servian differences beforo tho Powors recogniso the annexation. Baron von Aehrentbal's reply will bo that these aro two entirely distinct questions. THE RENUNCIATION. (Rec. March 28, 4.15 p.m.) Belgrade, March 28. King Potor of Servia received tho leaders of tho political parties and discussed tho Crown Prince's renunciation, and thero aro indications that it may bo withdrawn. The Prince will possibly start on a tour at "an early date. OTHER VERSIONS. Belgrade, March 26. Otlioi versions regarding tho Crown Prince's decision declaro that tho discovery of a military conspiracy among the Prince's friends against King Peter is the true explanation of tho renunciation. The nows causod a tremendous sensation in Servia, not unmixed with a strong feeling of relief. THE KING TO DECIDE. Belgrade, March 26. Tho Sorvian Cabinet has issued a statement that it is incompetent to deal with tho Prince's renunciation, and that tho King should decide. The groom's accident (referred to in Saturday's issue), continues the statement, ivas due to his falling downstairs, and an inquest failed to reveal external injuries. Tho Cabinet therefore considers further investigation needless. THE NEW HEIR. (Reo. March 29, 1 a.m.) Belgrade, March 28. The Crown Princo firmly adheres to his decision, and has signed his renunciation in tho presence of the Cabinet. King Peter countersigned it. His second son, Alexander, at present a student in Russia, will bo proclaimed heir. " '
