Masterton, March 26. the annual meeting of the Masterton Golf Uub was held yesterday afternoon. About twenty-five members, including some ladies were present. ' b The report stated that tho usual competitions wore p ayed during tho season, and soveral inter-club matches also took place. W. H. Booth won the men's championship, and Mrs. G. C. Williams the ladies' championship. Tho election of officers resulted as fol-lows:-President, Mr. H. G. Williams (reelected) ; vice-presidents, Messrs. In connection with a suggestion received from the Featherston Club that tho Masterton Uub take the initiative in inviting delegates from other Wairarapa clubs to consider the holding of an open Wairarapa championship it was. resolved that the Masterton Uub heartily approved of tho idea Mossrs. Lawrence and Cox were appointed delegates, with full powors to make arranceraents. ■ . fa
