Tho boilers aro tested for a pressure of 250 pounds per square inch, and tho consumption of coal is about fivo tons per day. Tho speed limit is 35 miles an hour. Tho tenders (which aro built and finished at Pctono) aro capable of holding 2200 gallons of water, and fivo tons of ooal.

Throo now dovices aro fitted on these locomotives. The relief cocks are worked by a pnmmmtio cylinder; ono of tho latest sightfeed lubricators is provided for oiling tho high and low pressure cylinders; and a lOin. Wostinghouso pump supplies nir for tho brake.
