: PETONE ASSOCIATION CI.UB. The second annual meeting of Petono Association Football Club was held on Thursday evening. Xlr. H Itenni was in tho chnir, and thero was an attendance of about forty members. Tho annual, report stated that, teams had been entered for the senior, third, and fourth grades, and although unsuccessful* hi annexing championship honours, had the distinction ot being runners-up in both championship, and Charity Cup competitions in tho third ana fourth 'divisions. The senior team had not been so successful, but the performance of tho team' had shown marked superiority over tho new teams playing in this division. Iho of matches was:—Senior-division: Played, 13; won, 3; lost, 9; drawn, 1; goals for H; goals against, 2G., Third division: Played, 9; won, 4; lost, 4; drawn, 1; goals for, 8; against. 11. Fourth division: Played, 10; won, 7; lost, 2; drawn, 1; goals for, 20; against, G. Tho year had been a profitable one financially, and it was anticipated that at tho end or the connrig season the club would be on a satisfactory footing. The club wished to thank the following for donations and! support: Messrs. Fred. Earlo, H. J. Palmer, J. "W. M'Ewan, K. J. Southgate,'H. Eenai, and B. C. Marnes. Tlio. medals donated to the best forward and the best back in the fourth division had been allotted, to .\\ Martin and P. Martin. . Tho report/and balance-sheet were adoptd. Tha Hovers' Association Football Club hold tlieir annual meeting at Armit's rooms last night/Mr; J. B. Paton presiding. . The annual report stated that iho 1503; wisin was the most successful that the club had had for many'years. Tho club rccords' showed that tho senior team played 14 matcHes, . : vi-on. 9, drew 3, and lost 2, occupying tho position of runners-lip'ill the championship tournament. The -senior 'team was unable to :• retain the •CharitvcCup,; being beaten by Ramblers; in itho semifinal. ; .:Tho; senior, second division,- team was not'so successful, but its form in the-cup matches .was up to expectations.' 'Messrs. T. Dnignan, C. O'Shea, and A. C. Barry ,were congratulated on attaining representative 'honours. Mr. C. O'Shea won the medal presented by Mr. A. Quaylo for best services on tho field. The club's "thanks were extended to Messrs. A. J. Abbot, A. J. Fernie, J. Godber, J. B. Paton, H. L. Godber, W. Hamilton, A. Qiiayle, T. E. Reynolds, and W. Anld, for their contributions • and support during tho past sea-' son. The balance-snoet showed a credit of £5 lGs. 6d. Tho report and balance-sheet were adopted. Five new members were elected. ■ Y.M.C.A. CLUB. ■ Tha aniial meeting of tho T.M.C.A. Football, Club was held last evening, Mr. H. N. Holmes occupying, the chair. The report showed that ■ last year,'the club had its most prosperous •season since its inception. The ])alance-sheot showed a small deficit. Nine teams entered for tHei ! vai;ious) championships, making tha club the' largest in the Dominion. The prospects for the coming season are bright. , Tho following oeffiers were elected. ~ The attendance at the meeting numbered about 100. BOYS' INSTITUTE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Govs' Insfcituto Association' Football Club was held at the Institute Buildings last evening.
