THE HIBERNIAN ANNIVERSARY.
ST. PATRICK'S DAY. To-morrow, March 17, is the anniversary of Ireland's Patron Saint, St. Patrick, and will bo fittingly observed by all Hibernians. The local Hibernian Society and the Wellington Catholic Club have made very full and complete arrangements for the commemoration of tho day. A monster picnic will be held at Father Lano's grounds, Lower Hutt, where sports of varied kinds will bo held. Tho picnic train (a special) will leave To Aro Station at 9.40 a.m., and Lambton at 9.52 a.m. The main procession, headed by tho Garrison Band, will leave Boulcott Street for To Aro Station at 9 a.m. In the evening a grand concert will be given in the Town Hall, whore a first-class programme will be tendered. The Canadian Kilties Band will contributo items duriug the evening.
