Picard, tho Minister'of Marino, are adjusting their differences on a basis of six or seven annual expenditures, aggregating twelve millions sterling, on tho navy, instead of a total of nine millions.
/The difficulties of the Minister for Finance M. Caillaux, are increasing, owing to tho stationary nopulation-{last year tho dentils exceeded the births)—and to the constantly augmented burdens of taxation. Tho actual Budgetary deficit is 2J million sterling. The .Estimates for tho coming year foreshadow an extra. 19 millions of taxation.)
