The following is the onrcial programmo of events: — Saturday, April 10.—9.15 a.m.—Civic reception "of visiting representatives by Uis Worship the Mayor in the Town Hall. 9.45 a.m.—Lawn tennis championships, at 'Wellington ' Club's courts, Palmer Street. 7.45 p m.—Debating championship, at Concert Chamber, Town Hall. Subject: "That the creation of small navies for defence purposes should bo encouraged in the self-governing ■ States of tho Empire." Judges: His Excellency the Governor, .his Honour Mr. Justieo Chapman, and J. W! Joynt, Esq., M.A. Monday, April 12.—11 a.m.—Athletic championships' at Basin lloserve. 6.45 p.m.— Piciiic and concert at Day's Bay. Tuesday, April 13.—9.30 a.m.—Lawn tennis championship finals, at Wellington Club's courts. I'ootball and hockoy matches in the afternoon. University ball Jii tho evening. Tho visiting representatives' aro expected to arrivo on Good Friday, and to leave, for | their homes on Wednesday, April 14. Twenty men and five ladies aro coming from Auckland College. Otago University is sending a ladies' hockey team, and tho Victoria College Ladies' Hockey. Club is trying to arrango matches with tho Canterbury College, and Otago ladies. Otago University has accepted tho challenge, but no reply has been received yet from Canterbury College. A suggestion has been made by Auckland Collego for a riQe-shooting competition to bo held. Tho committee- is replying that no room can bo found for such an event in the regular programmo, but if tbo shooting inon_ aro willing to arrivo on Wednesday morning, and get off tho competition in tho extra time, thero will bo no objection. The suggestion is that a shooting team of five- men should represent each college. ,
