SMALL GRAZING RUNS.
RESOLUTION BY HAAVKE'S BAY LAND BOARD. IBT TELECJUPU— 1-UESS ASSOCIATION.) Napier, March 12. In connection with small grazing run natters which were considered in committeo tho following resolution was carried by ihc Hawkc's Bay Land Board to-day:— "That in view of tho opiuion expressed by tho Hon. J. G. Ward, Miuister for Lands, to the deputation of small grazing runholders who waited upon him at Gisborao, and sot forth in tho second paragraph of his decision embodied in a letter from the Under-Secretary for Lands dated March 2, tho Land Board resolves to rescind the former resolutions connected with small grazing runs No. 43, lot 2, 44, 44a, 45, 54, and GG respectively, and decides that renewals of tho soveral leases be granted to the present lessees, and that the district valuer at Gisborne be appointed under the provisions of Section 209 of the Land Act, 1885, to inspect and value the several small grazing runs referred to, and fix the present capital value." Tho leases renewed were: —Run No. 43, 4354 acres 2 roods, R. G. Black; run No. 44a, 3905 acres, W. Bruce; run No. 45, 33. iS acres 1 rood 20 perches, J. A. A. Caesar; run No. 66, 1394 acres, D. Couper; lot 244, 3347 acres 3 roods 24 porches, J. C. Field; run No. 54, 6300 acres, G. J. White.
