A number of athletes from other districts who havo entered for events at tho Wellincton A.A.A.'s championships to-day arrived here yesterday. Among them wore Wallace of Auckland; Stubbs, of Palmerston Northand Williams, of Wanganni. G. Sharpe the long-distance champion of Now Zealand' and Australasia, also camo down from Admiral's Run last night. Great disappointment was felt when word came to hand that Hill, the winner of tho Auckland Marathon race was now unable to bo present at the mooting Hill, who is but a youth, had entered for the tlirco-milo flat race.
