EFFECT OF NEW MEAT REGULATIONS.
The importation of fresh pork, scrap meat, or trimmings to Great Britain ended on December 31, as did also tripe, tongues, and kidneys which have been treated with preservatives. The decision of the U.S. Bureau of Animal Industry not to certify any fresh pork for English markets was forced because the British Goreminent would coma to no understandinc m interpreting tlio new Meat Regulation law.— "Butchers' Advocate."
