There was a largo audienco at the Missions to Seamen Institute last night, when the weekly ambulance meeting was Mr. James Moore, the missioner, presided,' an:J gavo several useful hint 9 relating to first aid and health matters. Competitions in connection with suffocation were held, and mm by pailors from ships in port. During tho evening Mr. and Mrs. Cathcart provided a most delightful programme of music, tho following contributing items:—Mrs. Cathcart, Miss Tomlinson, and Messrs. Cathcart and Tunloy. Mr. Birch rendered several graphaphone solos. Tho performers wero accorded a hearty vote of thanks at tho conclusion of tho meeting.
