Millar for next week:—He leaves for Invcrcargill by the first express on Monday morning. At Balclutha ho will meet a deputation urging the construction of a lino of railway from Balclutha to Tuapeka mouth. On Tuesday morning he will Inako an inspection 'of the Orcpuki-Waiau branch line, and will open the new gasworks at Invcrcargill. On Wednesday ho leaves; for Gore, where lie. will inspect the Waikaia railway in the morning, and in the afternoon will open the Waikaka branch railway. Ho 'eaves Gore for Kingston on Thursday morning, and spends Friday at Queenstown. A return will be mado to Dtmedin on Saturday, and the Minister will leave for tlio West Coast on the fallowing Monday, staying a few days in Christcluirch en route.
