BARQUE ASHORE.
ACCIDENT TO THE (by telegbaph—peess association—copyright.) ' ' London February 26. The barque Suroouf, while \ on a voyago from Now Caledonia to Glasgow, went ashore at Tara, on tho Irish coast. Sho is in a tad position. The Surcouf is a steel barque, of 1212 tons gross, and was built in 1901. Her dimensions are: leneth, 277 ft. sin.; breadth,' dOft. 4in.; depth, 22ft. 7in. She left Thio in New Caledonia, on November 13, 1908, and was proceeding to Glasgow when she struck. Her port of registry is Nantes, Franc^.
