A .special meeting of tha Technical School Board was held,in;the newibuilding Ustevcning. for the purpose 1 ; of".ascertaining that everything would be in readiness for the opening on Friday night. The Rev. A. Thomson (cTiairman), J. G. Castle (secretary), Duncan M'lCenzie, Coles, Baldwin, and were/present. The director, Mr. E. Kingjiand of the teaching staif; also attended. On the motion of tho Rev. A. Thomson it was decided to, get' someone to clean out the buildinK, and put the furtjiture! in place in the -different rooms.' During the course of the, meeting, the chairman •mentioned that, owiiig to : serious illness, Mr. ;T. M. Wilford, M.P. 1 , would not bo able to bo present at tho opening. .
