Bailey :, Nvas next in, and-the rate of scoring , increased. The .total had mounted to 67. before Moss, .who, up the. bowling, disposed of Bailey with - a beautiful , length..ball. . The outgoing batsman had shaped very nicely for 17. 1 Hawke; was 'now • partnered;by O'Brien, but with, the first; ball of his next over, when the score stood at 71, Moss bowled the, howcomer. - The partnership between Hawke aqd.Hindmarsh.added. 18 runs, both batsmen;hitting out,- but/it was,brought to a close,by Waters' getting /Hawke out leg before wicket. .'Hawke'.
